falling off at maturity

Lately everyone who lives in Utah and has a blog has been going on and on and on and on and on about how beautiful the fall leaves in their given local canyon are.

And everyone in Utah is RIGHT.

Oh how I miss the canyons of utah in every season, but they are amazingly beautiful in the fall. It is not too shabby here either though! Yesterday Dad and I celebrated Columbus Day by hiking Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah National Park. You can read about it here: http://www.hikingupward.com/SNP/OldRag/

It was so beautiful. There is still a lot of green, but there is also yellow, orange, red, purple, and yes, even pink. We had a great time, and we are not even too sore today.

I never notice the leaves. I always hear about it when it's too late.
