Reason #287 for my hatred of America's health care: the 806 more dollars I suddenly owe for stuff that went down over six months ago.
Somebody please fix this broken system.

Don't pay for anything until you know for sure your insurance company is not going to pay it. Another idea - check the bill in detail and make sure they didn't charge you for anything extra (they often do) - if so, have them deduct it. Last idea - see if they'll settle for something less. Hey, it's worth a try! Love ya - Ma Cheney
Good advice from Karon's mom! I would definitely not just pay these bills. It isn't fair for them to add things in 2008 when you met your cap for 2007.
When I read stuff like this I feel so lucky to not have any worries like that at all. Actually, health care is the only reason we didn't even really consider living in America.
Yeah and while you're at it, find out why there has to be a $5000 copay in the state of Utah just to give birth to a regular healthy baby in a regular hospital. Shoot, how do people even afford to have 10 of 'em?

Wait are you broken or the system? Who's going to pay to fix that?
