it's the network

You see this?

Well I know what you're thinking--"that looks like buckets of fun!" First of all, you're accidentally confusing the Busy Ball Popper® by Playskool with Mr. Bucket®, by Milton Bradley. It's an easy mistake; balls do pop out of his mouth. Secondly, the Busy Ball Popper is not nearly as fun when in place of that pink ball, it has a Samsung A930. Imagine it looking something like this:
And imagine that phone is yours, and wedged quite tightly in above location, and is ringing. Thanks a lot, Kyle the baby.

Actually it wasn't that big of a problem, after a little disassembly and various forms of shaking, hitting, pounding, jiggling, etc. it came out no worse for the wear. And the good thing is it gave me a chance to flex my Photoshop muscle.

Speaking of my phone, though, I accidentally left it at home when I came to work today. And you know how it is when you are away from your phone for a long time: there is no disappointment like coming back to it and seeing you missed not even one call or text. So this is call to action! If you know me, and know my phone number, send me a text or call and leave me a voicemail so I can be so so happy when I get home. I realize this is an entirely selfish plea...I'm okay with that. It would be so kind of you though!

Yes sir. I took one of these apart just last Saturday. Priya jammed 4 plastic "cans" deep into it.

I guess I understand. If the air blows a ball out, let's see what else it'll blow out.

When I was a kid I put a small lincoln log into the VCR and was suprised when it didn't come out after I hit eject.

I'm impressed that Kyle got the phone in that far. It's funny that he got your phone stuck in the toy that you gave him.

Kyle is very clever to try putting your phone in the busy ball popper. I'm glad you got it out though. I would let him put my phone in if that meant I could spend time with him.

That's SO funny!! I've learned nothing is safe when you are spending time with kids...

Cell phones and babies don't mix -- I was multi-tasking last night during bath time, and my cell phone accidentally bathed with my kid. oops.

My friend's husband tells her she has 'no respect for technology' when she lets her baby slobber all over cell phones... at least she has respect for some peace and quiet.

Yes I would have to agree with previous comments that your writing style is quite entertaining. Please start writing some sort of daily newspaper column or something! And about this posting, we have the same toy now (thanks to Uncle Cotton), so I will have to beware. Luckily the only creative things Chase has stuck in there so far are a toy car and a piece of tortilla chip.

OMG Josh and I were totally transfixed by this toy last week. It was (almost) better than TV. We want to buy one just for ourselves - maybe that's a better idea than letting babies play with it anyway, in light of your story. :)

Hey TK, I didn't know you were a blogger. Nice. Yeah, my nephew wore out his ball popping motorized torture device by cramming everything he could get his grimy little hands on down the tube. Sometimes he'd just cram his grimy little hands themselves down there. That was always a reason to cry, ugh.

price1869.blogspot.com if you didn't know.
