come gather round people

If you had asked me a year ago what I really wanted, I would have listed a lot of things. I would have said I wanted a job doing something I could be passionate about, I wanted to live in downtown Salt Lake, really downtown, I wanted to be able to walk or take public transportation to everything and leave my car parked all the time, I wanted that parked car to be paid off, I wanted lots of great single friends to constantly do fun things with, I wanted to be actively involved in church service and activities, I wanted to see more of this little old world, I wanted to take care of my body better, I wanted to discover new music and new movies and new books and new styles, I wanted this quaint and wonderful and exhilarating little young professional life.

Not to brag, but, check check check check check check check check check check.

And I'm feeling extra specially grateful for how things really can change and get better and better all the time. And I wanted people to know that I've just been too busy loving every little thing about my new life too much to write on this here blog. I've got to enjoy it while it lasts.

(Okay sort of to brag.)

Hey, I'm happy for you! I don't mind all the bragging. :) It's great to hear people rejoice about their lives and what's going well. Glad you blogged; I was wondering what you were up to these days.

It is good to feel and express gratitude. I think I heard that recently! I am so glad for the good things in your life.

You go girl! It is good to hear about what is going right in life, we could easily focus on what's going wrong.

I just want to say that it's been way too long since I've seen you. It looks like we won't be there over Christmas. And it broke my heart I didn't get to see you in September - we were literally in Utah for 72 hours, and most of that was spent sleeping. But the next time I'm there, I'm gonna find a way to Salt Lake. Because I'm just so happy for you and this new job, new house, new calling, etc. You have a totally new life which is always exciting, and I'm so glad you're so happy!
