super

Listen up. I think iceberg lettuce is the best base for a salad. I find it superior in both taste and texture. You heard me, romainians. And don't even think about bringing up spinach.

Totally with you. Just because it's cheaper doesn't mean it's not the best. Iceberg is tastier and has a superior crunch factor. It's important to omit the core, though, as well as the outer, limp leaves. The best stuff is in the mantle.

I like iceberg lettuce, but I like romaine and others too, and I love spinach! But I mostly buy iceberg and I am happy with it.

and Mama, what did I say about spinach?

Hmmm . . . not much of an iceberg fan. I prefer a green leaf and red leaf lettuce mix.

Is hip-to-be-normal a new trend that I am unaware of or something? If so then for the record my favorite kind of pants are jeans, Michael Jordan is the best basketball player, and the best desert is cake.

Dang it, I mean the best desert is the Sahara

In the words of my son, "Ucky gross!"

Iceberg lettuce is a scourge upon us.

I usually love spinach, but I've been throwing out too many totally unopened bags of it lately. maybe I'll have to go back to the ol' iceberg stuff, see if my taste buds just want to go back to junior high or something.
